Setting the agenda for open and inclusive government.
In the Niger-Delta, Akwa Ibom State is one of six states that have not signed on to the OGP as of yet. The government of the state of Akwa Ibom has an obligation to recognize the need for transparency, accountability, and citizen participation. Open Government Partnership (OGP) aims to promote open and inclusive government by bridging the gap between governments, citizens, civil society organizations, and all stakeholders, bringing together government, citizens, civil society organizations, and all relevant stakeholders.
To this end, there will be an OpenGov Radio show explaining the significance of the Open Government Partnership. The purpose of this show is to discuss how the OGP sets the agenda for openness and inclusivity in governments, with a particular focus on Akwa Ibom State.
