Our budget analysis team looked at the Akwa Ibom State Government’s proposed 2023 budget from a geo-locational lens and it was politically revealing.
We found that the draft budget was disproportionately skewed towards certain parts of the state, while grossly marginalizing some others.
In the days ahead, we’ll be looking at the draft budgets of other states from the same lens.
