Only six out of nine states in the Niger Delta have signed up to the OGP. However, those that have not joined need a further push to do so, while the states that are already implementing OGP need to take actions to strengthen and sustain implementation especially as many states transition to a new administration.
To this effect, there will be an OpenGov Radio show as part of events to mark the OGP week. This Radio show will amplify the OGP message and key policy concerns relevant to each state of the Niger Delta on three radio stations in the region, potentially reaching over 10 million listeners, and engaging with thousands through call-ins and social media feeds.
